I would like to know.... would someone be willing to write to me by e-mail and help me with my Irish language?? I know a couple of words, but not exactly enough to have a real conversation yet, but I would wanna learn some, and I believe that it is by practicing that I will learn =Þ So if someone would wanna help me, I'd be grateful :)

Go raigh maith agat! :)

There is a mailing list for people learning Irish, you could try it.

Send a message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.HEANET.IE with

SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Your name

in the body of the message. There are few people who are willing and able teachers who particpate in that list.

Are you sure you did it right. When he said that you write-"SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Your name"

for you, that is: SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Johanne G.

If you left 'your name' without changing it, it would probably reject you.If you've done that right I'd just say try it again.

For the benefit of anybody else ( I have sent e-mails to Johanne)

"SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Your name " is a command to the computer, and ALL of it needs to be in the body of the message, the subject is irrelevant.
