I would like to know.... would someone be willing to write to me by e-mail and help me with my Irish language?? I know a couple of words, but not exactly enough to have a real conversation yet, but I would wanna learn some, and I believe that it is by practicing that I will learn =Þ So if someone would wanna help me, I'd be grateful :)

There is a mailing list for people learning Irish, you could try it.

Send a message to with

SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Your name

in the body of the message. There are few people who are willing and able teachers who particpate in that list.

for you, that is: SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Johanne G.

If you left 'your name' without changing it, it would probably reject you.If you've done that right I'd just say try it again.

"SUBSCRIBE GAEILGE-B Your name " is a command to the computer, and ALL of it needs to be in the body of the message, the subject is irrelevant.
