I'm astudent of the Irish language in Israel, I came across a Text in a story of Sean Mac Mathuna - An Seamlas: (page 77) Bhi se i gceartlar an fhalla. Bhraith se cumhacht a aigne, a choirp, a anama ag imeacht sa ras sios a lamha IS IS(???) amach trid an mbairille.
actually I need more than anything to know how you translate the "is is".

I suspect "is is" is a printing error.
"is" can be an abbreviation of "agus", and.

sios a lamha is amach trid an mbairille

would then translate as "down his arms and out through the barrel"

Yeah, it just looks like the speaker is stuttering on the word 'is' which, as Aonghus said, is an abbreviation of 'agus'.
Ronen, seeing as you're an Israeli student of the language, when you're proficient enough you should come over here and teach us irish how to revive a language properly!!
