hey, there -

it appears that i'll be locked out of beginning irish classes here in the world's hog-butcher until october, but i'd really like to learn what i may of the mother tongue before then. if any of you are chicagoans who are willing to tutor a genuinely interested, paying newbie or if you know someone who is, please email me.

As a displaced Chicagoan, I would highly recommend the Irish-American Heritage Center on the North Side. They have some cool stuff going on all the time, from language classes to the Taste of Ireland-check it out.
