Mo chairde,
an bhfaca sibh "foinse" an t-seachtain seo? ar an chéad leathanach tá an abairt seo "an bata don ghaeilge?" is iad seo na príomhphointí atá ann : 1 Moladh Fine Gael nach gá an Ghaeilge don Ardteist
2 tá seans ann go nglacfaí an páirtí mar pholasaí toghcháin acu nach mbeidh ar scoláirí an Ghaeilge a fhoghlaim don Ardteistiméireacht feasta.

céard a ceapann sibh faoi seo?????
seol do chuid tuairimí chuig 'finegael@finegael.com' más é do thoil é
go raibh maith agaibh

did you see "foinse" this week? on the first page there was the sentence "the stick for irsih". these are the main points in the article:
1 Fine Gael advise that there is no need for Irish in the Leaving Certificate
2 There is a chance that the party will take as their election policy that students
will not have to learn Irish for the Leaving Certificate.

what do you think about this?
send your opinions to finegael@finegael.com please
thank you

My reaction was a first to tranlate "ar bata..." as "at bat for" used in American slang. However,

I tried to contact FineGael by idirlion but there was some trouble getting thru....Slan anois,
