Beginning Irish and Introduction to Irish classes.

Beginning Irish 1 & 2. This class is suitable for absolute beginners, as well as for those who have some knowledge of the language upon which they'd like to expand. We explore basic conversational topics, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation within the context of conversation, song, and the occasional rousing game of fíche ceist (20 questions). Classes are held at New Brighton Middle School in Capitola, as a program of the Capitola Recreation Department. Ages 18 and up (younger with permission of teacher).

Offering individual and small group tutoring to people who would like to experience a Gaeltacht Summer program like Oideas Gael. Beginner, Early Intermediate, and Intermediate levels.

Weekly Irish language classes in Palo Alto for continuing students will resume the week of Nov. 13, 2011. A beginners class will also be orgnized, if there is sufficient interest.

Beginning classes in conversational Irish. Fridays from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at the House of Ireland in Balboa Park.

Additional levels available.

Saturday classes for adults, 11am - 1pm. Teacher: Imelda White.

Classes for all levels in teacher's or student's home or at school in Thousand Oaks, CA. Teacher is a qualified N.T. with a B.Ed. and H.Dip. from Ireland. Experienced working as a teacher in the Gaeltacht (Irish- speaking region) at Colaiste Cholumba in Carraroe.

Not a true "class," but more of an Irish language workshop. The workshops are run out of my home.
