A non-credit Continuing studies class at Brown University is beginning on campus in Beginning Irish Gaelic language.
Deepen your knowledge of Irish culture with study in Irish Gaelic, the native language of Ireland. Travelling to Ireland? You'll be able to negotiate placenames like an expert! Thinking of studying in Ireland? The language is a prerequisite for many programs (Fulbright, e.g.) and an asset even in those that don't require it. Just love Irish music and poetry for itself? This course will awaken your ears to the beauty and rhythm of Irish Gaelic spoken language.
