Lehman College, through financial assistance from the Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs of the Irish Government, now offers a Minor in Irish Language and Literature. A complete BA in Irish Language and Literature is currently being evaluated and is expected to begin enrolling students in Fall 2012.
The program also staffs Saturday morning (11am) classes for children at the Aisling Center in Yonkers, NY.

The Aisling Center offers beginning and advanced Irish language classes for children 5 years old to high school age. We teach both American students with an interest in the language and children who have already taken the language in school in Ireland or who expect to soon be taking the language in school in Ireland.
