Credit available.A two-semester credit course is given at the university every second year. Non-credit classes for beginners are sometimes available when the credit course is not in session. An informal reading group for slightly more advanced students meets weekly at members' homes during the Fall and Winter.
Non-Credit available.Saint Francis Xavier now offers full-year credit courses in first year and second year Irish Gaelic as well as four courses (first year through fourth year) in Scottish Gaelic. In addition, we now offer a B.A. honours degree in Celtic Studies.
